Urbane Bazaar, First Subang Mall: My Passport to A Day of Pampering!

The irony of Stress! It hits everyone these days like a common flu. It doesn’t differentiate age or sex. Lately, it’s been hitting me in every corner I turn. When PlusSizeKitten and Ashley graciously invited me to a day of pampering at First Subang Mall, how could I resist??? J

Caffeine Fix

Checking into the mall, the stop was Coffee Chemistry Cafe, a café serving Graffeo coffee beans from San Francisco. Graffeo coffee has been ranked by Zagat as the number one coffee in both coffee quality and service. While coffee is their signature, Coffee Chemistry also serves up Asian Western Fusion cuisine. The café exuded a stylish and quaintness with spacious dining area and classy private rooms with lots of natural lights glowing beautifully that morning.

We were treated to a glorious spread of their signature coffees with finger food and canapés. I took a quick peak into their menu and saw selections of finger food, soup, sandwiches, omelettes, pasta, main courses, desserts and even a kiddie menu!

Coffee Art is always much welcome. It takes a lot of skill and practice to get these coffee art executed right. Others sampled Cappucino, Macchiato, Flat White and regular Coffee while I enjoyed an Iced Latte. There is also a refreshing looking Iced Lime Mint Juice.

At Coffee Chemistry, we were treated to quite a few varieties of the lovely art and even a 3D one! The 3D bear is unbelievably cute…

Finger Food took form in Teriyaki Marinated Chicken Skewers and Homemade Potato Croquettes while we sampled Miniature Beef Bacon Hand Roll, Tuna on Basil & Mayo Topping Baguette and my little one had Kiddies Chicken Tomato Spaghetti. I really enjoyed the chicken skewers and potato croquettes. Would definitely order these again as both are flavorful and delicious!

Canapes are beautifully presented with lots of colors and textures. I do have to say I enjoyed all three Ratatouille Bruschetta, Mushroom Onion Bruschetta and Smoked Salmon on Basil with Maltaise Topping Baguette. My only gripe is the bread is a bit too thick making it a little hard to bite but the fillings are sensational.

Shopping Addiction

After the lovely visit, I spearheaded to the Urbane Bazaar for some shopping!! The Bazaar is fairly new and takes place on Thursdays and Fridays of the first and last week of each month.

Women shopaholics can find all sorts of things to buy from gorgeous pieces of jewelry to clothes, baby clothes, handbags, shoes, accessories and more. Men and children are also not left out with a selections of books, gadgets, electrical accessories and more as well. Check out what I caught behind my lens!

Intricate pieces of necklaces and chokers are so attractive, especially both silver and stone choker and gold plated choker!

Rings and earrings take form in every shape, colors and sizes! Korean designed earrings are popular these days while stud earrings with cute printed motifs are also in. One can DIY the Arabella earrings based on the prints available and I personally bought quite a few of these for the coming Christmas season for gifts. Even the foxy earrings are so cute!!

Name card holders with matching key chains are available in big choice of prints and designs.

Handbags… one certainly cannot have enough of these! Here I see a trend of stripes and zippers being the latest fashion. I personally like the zipper ones for its stylish design!

I also spied a cute stall called Overlapping showcasing unique hangbags, camera bags, and other adorable stationaries.

Children clothes are simply too adorable to resist! If you have little ones, check out what these has to offer… J

I even bought a few books that day while my partner checked out the gadget stalls.

Manicure & Pedicure Pampering

After my shopping expedition, I headed over to My Love Nails for some hand and feet pampering! The comfortable sofa chair makes me relax with much ease while I am taken care off.

Lots of OPI colors for selection and while my other fellow foodie chose a bright orange for her hands, I opted for deep purple for my toes…

Tea Snacks

After my pedicure session, we were treated to a tea break at Sherlyn’s Little Dream kiosk for tea, coffee and desserts!

My little one had a huge cookie in the shape of the duck, which he happily munched while I savored Oreo Cheesecake, Fudge Brownie and coffee. They do have a little space for dine in but I saw most customers prefer to do take-away. Its baked with love!
