Ramadhan Selera Kampung
This
holy month of Ramadhan, Chatz Brasserie
at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur is
presenting their buka puasa dinner buffet themed Ramadhan Selera Kampung. A
list of nostalgic kampung dishes will bring back memories of a mother’s
homecooking during this month. The chefs and the culinary team has set a new
record for their buka puasa buffet this year with a staggering list of highlights
which includes 18 types of porridge among the spread.
Kicking
off the buka puasa feast is Barbeque
Whole Lamb! Tender pieces of spice marinated meat, savor the lamb with black
pepper, mushroom, barbeque sauces of sambals.
There
is also the Ayam Percik Iftar where
chicken is also marinated in spices, roasted and then smothered in Percik sauce.
Nasi Kerabu remains as one of the restaurant’s
favorite highlight as the rice is wonderfully aromatic from all the herbs in
the dish. Savor the rice with assorted condiments as well as the Kerabu.
The
Kerabu station offers Kerabu Pucuk Paku,
Kerabu Soo Hoon Berudang, Kerabut Perut, Kerabut Ikan Bilis, Umai Ikan, Kerabu
Pegaga, Kerabu Jantung Pisang, Kerabu Ayam Daun Kesom, Kerabu Mangga Muda, Kerabut
Nangka Sambal Kelapa, Kerabu Daging, Kerabu Rebung, Acar Timun Tumis, Rojak
Buah, Pecal with Peanut Gravy and more on rotation basis.
Let’s
not forget the Ulam Ulam Mentah dan
Rebus to be savored with the sambals such as Sambal Belachan, Sambal Mangga, Sambal Kelapa, Sambal Tomato, Sambal
Tempoyak, Budu, Cencalok and more. There is also lots of Ikan Masin, Jeruk Buah, Telur Masin, Telur
Pindang,. Lemang, Ketupat Palas and Serunding.
The
main highlight of 18 types of Bubur include Bubur Lambuk Sayuran, Bubur Lambuk Daging, Bubur Asyura Johor, Bubur
Asyura Utara, Bubur Ayam, BuburBubur Menguh Bali, Bubur Telur Masin, Bubur Nasi
Keledek, Bubur Isi Ketam, Bubur Ikan, Bubur Singgang Kupang, Lobster Porridge,
Teow Chew Porridge and more.
There
is also a Local Griled Fish bar showcasing assorted Ikan Bakar with sauces like Asam,
Kicap Pedas, Thai Chili and Kalasan.

hot warmers has a gorgeous array of kampung delights of Ayam Kapitan Nyonya, Kari Telur Ikan Sentul, Udang Goreng Mamak, Ikan
Duri Masak Berlada, Rendang Paru dan Hati, Ikan Masin Lemak Nenas, Tempe Kacang
Pajang Berlada, Ikan Duri Masak Berlada, Itik Masak Halia, Asam Pedas Tetel,
Rendang Puyuh, Patin Gulai Tempoyak, Ayam Kuzi, Daging Kerutub, Kurma Kambing,
Sotong Sambal Petai, Udang Goreng Kunyit Bawang, Rebung Lemak Udang, Ikan Keli
BErlada, Udang Lemak Belimbing, Daging Rendang Kuning, BUrung Puyuh Goreng,

Agar Bersantan, Tapai Pulut, Ondeh Ondeh, Kuih Cara Berlauk, Puteri Mandi,
Badak Berendam and more. Sweet hot bubur such as Bubur Kacang Hijau Durian, Bubur Kacang Merah, Bubur Pulut Hitam,
Pengat Nangka and Pengat Pisang.
For the buffet there is a Ramadhan Special Beverage of Fresh Coconut Water with Palm Sugar.
There
is also other desserts of cakes, waffles, Durian
Ice Cream, Kurma, Pudding, Ice Kacang, fresh fruits and more.
Ramadhan
Selera Kampung at Chatz Brasserie is available from 18
June to 16 July, from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. With unlimited flow of juices and soft
drinks, the buffet is priced at RM128 nett per person from Sunday to Thursday,
and RM138 nett per person on Friday and Saturday.
Guests staying at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur and PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur are
entitled to 20% savings on Ramadhan Selera Kampung. Special savings also apply
for selected bank cardmembers.

‘Berbuka Puasa’ banquets for a minimum of 50 persons from RM128 nett per person

Roasted Sirloin and Ayam Rendang Sri
Aidilfitri. Priced at RM78 nett per person and inclusive of unlimited flow
