The Eiffel Tower @ The Parisian Macao

The Eiffel Tower has long been on my bucket list as one of the places to visit. Intrigue by the structure of the tower and all the stories that came with it, I have longed for the day to come when I would be able to visit the tower. Built in 1889, The Eiffel Tower was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution.

Upon planning my trip to Macao, I was delighted to find out that there is The Eiffel Tower at The Parisian Macao. The Eiffel Tower at Macao is an exact replica of the original on in Paris except that its half the actual size. Nevertheless, I was still pretty stoked that one of my bucket list can actually be coming true.

For those traveling to Macao, one can take the opportunity to grab the complimentary bus from the Macao ferry to The Parisian Macao. Since it was a day trip for us as we were visiting Hong Kong, we took the Cotai Waterjet Ferry to Macao Taipa Ferry Terminal. The ride was about an hour and those who has motion sickness is recommended to take some motion sickness meds just in case.

As mentioned in my earlier post from my amazing lunch at Le Buffet, we headed to The Eiffel Tower after lunch. One can opt for the promotion package to dine at one of the restaurants at The Parisian Macao and visit The Eiffel Tower as well. More information available at the link here.

The entrance of The Eiffel Tower is located at Level 5 inside The Parisian Macao or one can also enter from the main building outside. Locate the Eiffel Tower Souvenir Shop at Level 5 and the entrance is just next to it. The Eiffel Tower is open daily from 11am to 11pm. Do check their website to make sure it’s open as the tower can be closed for some activity at times.

As soon as we got our tickets, we were ushers to have a photoshoot. In fact, I like this idea as they will impose our photo with the Eiffel Tower, saving me to try and take one nice one for me and my family.

The first sight of The Eiffel Tower, I had to pinch myself… just to make sure I was really awake.

The structure stood right in front of me and I was in awe for a few minutes. Taking into sight of the glorious tower, set against the blue sky backdrop, I felt a sense of happiness warming up my soul. I am finally here, standing in front of The Eiffel Tower.

Next to the Eiffel Tower, I spied gold statues of some Greek Gods. It was such a mesmerizing sight!

We spent quite a while admiring the tower from a far and taking lots of photos.

To get to the tower, one passes the Love Lock Bridge, an exact replica of the same one in Paris too. It is said that lovers will remain together forever if they were to attach a lock with their names on it at the Love Lock Bridge. From the looks of the bridge, plenty of lovers have already been here since its opening in 2016.

One can bring their own or simply buy one from the kiosk nearby…

The stroll to The Eiffel Tower was a slow one… taking time to absorb the amazing structure and architecture of the tower built using 2,800 tonnes of steel. Although this tower was only half the size of the original, it was still an impressive scale. The observation decks are at Level 7 and 37.
As I look below the tower, there is a pretty greenery maze with a water fountain. Such picture-perfect sight that beckons one to stroll around there…

There are pretty settings at the deck and one simply cannot help but to pose and snap away to our hearts content!

We took the high-speed elevator up to Level 37. For someone who is afraid of height, I was a little nervous as we were on our way up. As soon as the door of the elevator open, I felt a moment of breathlessness as I watched the amazing sight right before my eyes.

My little one squealed in delight as we all walked out to the observation deck and stood to admire the sight of Macao stretched way into the horizon. It was also a little windy and I couldn’t help but felt a little nervous again.

However, it was only a few minutes before I was moving around to capture all the beautiful sights of the City of Lights. I am pretty sure it would also be just as amazing in the evening with all the glittering lights.

One can stroll 360 degrees around the deck to catch all views. We find ourselves lost in awe of the view and spent quite a while on the deck.

Peek hole for the those who dare to look down!

Little one left his name on the tower with a wet brush….

The gorgeous sight of The Parisian Macao building!

It was hard to leave to go back down but we did. More visitors were coming up and we also wanted to explore Macao city. As soon as we went back down, we walked around the tower and saw this lovely Café de Paris. The menu offers light bites and drinks as well as desserts.

We wished that we had time to enjoy the café but at last we did not…

We also spied a team preparing the ice skating ring to usher in the Christmas and New Year… this would have been awesome if the ice skating was already ready when we were there. Oh well, at least I know others will really enjoy this…

Our photo for the memories….

It was such a wonderful experience and I left The Eiffel Tower in a sense of happiness… knowing that I have at been to The Eiffel Tower with my loved ones. Truly an experience that I will remember for a long time to come…

We strolled through The Parisian Macao after we left The Eiffel Tower and saw the majestic grand lobby centerpiece. A Christmas tree hanged upside down, set against the gorgeous painted ceiling dome filled with Greek legends had many staring at this for a few minutes.

The water fountain is also flanked by more statues and epitomizes legends of the untold…

As we left The Parisian Macao and The Eiffel Tower stood at sight next to it, I felt truly blessed to be able to see such a sight. Located on The Cotai Strip, The Parisian Macao is truly worthy of a visit when one is in Macao. There are also many other hotels nearby that looks very impressive as well. Oh well… I guess I will just have to return again with my family another day for them….

  2. I run a small soup stand and needed eco-friendly containers for hot soups. I chose https://mcdonaldpaper.com/safepro-eco-sb50-8-oz-recyclable-kraft-paper-soup-cup-with-vented-paper-lid-combo-250-cs/. These cups are strong, don’t leak, and the lid fits well. I like the recyclable aspect too. Customers are happy with them, and I’ll likely stick with these for a while. Nice find for hot food packaging.
